About these numbers

FLoRA dataset
The published collection: the source records once duplicates are merged, exclusions applied and incomplete entries dropped.
Replications and reproductions
A replication repeats a study with new data. A reproduction re-analyses the original study’s data.
Days without a new count
The dataset is counted when the pipeline runs: nightly, and when an administrator starts it. On other days the last figure is carried forward, and the table marks the day.
Before the first count
The dataset line starts at its first count. Earlier days stay blank: re-counting old records under today’s rules would give a number that was never true on that day.
Dates
UTC calendar days. Each shows the count at the end of the day.
